On September 8th, 2023, ETEM acquired the W.H. Sammis Plant from Energy Harbor.

 

ETEM plans to remediate environmental conditions at Sammis, demolish the power plant structures and prepare the site for next life industrial redevelopment.  The Sammis property has direct river and rail spur access and offers opportunities for energy redevelopment on site (adjacent to Ohio Edison switch yard which will remain following demolition of the plant).
